Mormon Chic?
Can we just talk about the fact that there's a website called "Mormon Chic"???? Who knew Mormons wanted to be chic? Though, why not? I guess the internet has something for everyone...

Listen to excerpts on Amazon.

iPhone bandwagon is full!
Over 3 million sold in the first month!
And, Apple makes $1 million per day on the iTunes store.
The second article talks about the impact of the iPhone on Google and Microsoft. I was all set to wait for an Android-powered phone to come out... but then it was delayed to Q4 of this year. No way am I going to wait 6 months after my need for a smart phone has been established (by work) to get a Google phone. Too bad, though..

Who knew Swedes were so funny
Who knew Sweden was such a peculiar country? I certainly didn't. But it sounds nice. Hair driers here in the US are always burning my scalp. And, they have KETCHUP UDDERS!!! How fantastic, how efficient, how lovely.

Watch this entertaining tale of what really happens to our trash in the USA:
Story of Stuff
(It's kind of long... but informative.)

News Silos no more
There's a new news aggregator on the block:
http://www.silobreaker.com/
What a great way to see unbiased news. My favorite feature is the map that shows where stories on your particular topic have recently surfaced.

Stuff white people like?
Including multi-grain bread, Montesary schools, and organic fruit, and very not politically correct (but funny as hell): Stuff White People Like.
Courtesy of the Daily Candy.
Also - last night I did iron together some plastic bags. It's trickier than it seems, and the material is interesting. I suppose exactly what you would think fused plastic bags would be like - stiff-ish and plasticy. Shocking. I quickly gave up and returned to my 3-D animal making.
